Artist Statement:

I created this book by using paint, magazine clippings, and photographs I've taken over the years. Mixing these mediums I wanted to create a story that shared my journey with sobriety. Through sobriety, I've felt as though I've had a 'spiritual awakening,' creating this book helped me translate what that felt like for me. I feel like social media has only showcased the positive side of what a spiritual awakening can look like, but there's so much more.
